The Borough was incorporated in 1850. The Media Police Department was organized on January 9, 1877.

By taking a proactive approach toward security and crime prevention we work to keep "Everybody's hometown" a safe and friendly place.

Parking Fees & Time Limits

Parking Meters and Kiosks - All Zones

$1.50 for each hour of parking. All fees shall be payable and enforceable between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm.  Monday through Saturday throughout the borough in all parking zones.
