Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service Commission is responsible for each and every appointment and promotion in the police force within the Borough according to qualification and fitness by examination on a competitive basis.
Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council shall advise Media Borough Council and the Borough of Media's Committees, and educate the citizens of the Borough of Media, on matters that affect the quality of the environment in the borough.
Historic Archives Commission
The Historic Archives Commission acts as custodian for any archival materials relating to the Borough of Media and the vicinity of the Borough of Media.
Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB)
The Historic Architectural Review Board make recommendations to Borough Council regarding the advisability of issuing any certificate of appropriateness required to be issued in the historic districts of the Borough of Media.
ICC & Life Safety Appeals Board
Appeals of a decision of the Media Borough Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector pertaining to the BOCA and Life Safety Codes may be made to the Media Borough BOCA and Life Safety Appeals Board.

The mission of the Media Business Authority is to encourage economic growth, cultivate a positive visual environment, and sustain and nurture business development.
Media-Upper Providence Free Library Board of Trustees
Media-Upper Providence Free Library is always looking for volunteers to work on committees for fundraising, marketing, building/facilities, finance and human resources.
The Planning Commission presents and makes recommendations to the governing body concerning zoning ordinances, comprehensive plans, subdivisions, land development, building codes and housing codes of the Borough of Media.
The Recreation Board is responsible for outfitting, operating, and maintaining recreation programs and places in the Borough of Media.
Shade Tree Commission
The Shade Tree Commission has exclusive custody and control of the shade trees in the Borough.
The Vacancy Board is responsible to fill any vacancy after thirty days, whether the vacancy occurred in the office of the Mayor, Borough Council or Tax Collector by death, resignation or removal.
Zoning Hearing Board
The Zoning Hearing Board hears and decides appeals where it is alleged that the Borough Code Enforcement Officer has failed to follow prescribed procedure or has misinterpreted or misapplied any provision of the Zoning Code.
