Bon Bon loves curling up for a nap, walking on top of her favorite human and ‘mrrr’-ing to share her concerns, and sometimes even playing with a string or stretching up to reach some birds or gerbils on TV even though she is a senior lady. Bon Bon was adopted from PAC last year and it’s almost one year since her gotcha day.
Lani is a Spanish Water Dog who can often be seen walking through town, usually with her “dad”. She loves a good chewie, gently playing with our 7 year old son, visits to Cape May, eating socks, and being her owners head of security.
Ori is a rescue who suffers from anxiety. Ori is her owner’s emotional support animal and guardian gremlin. Ori loves to play, snuggle, work out in the gym with her owner and enjoys mad Max movies.
Roz is a 4 year old Poodle mix and likes to survey the goings-on in Media from her parents' windows when she’s not napping or playing with her tennis ball.
Ellie is a rescue pup and just turned 1 in mid--December. She appears to be mostly Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog. Ellie is very energetic and loves to take long walks in Media or run laps in her backyard. She does not have a mean bone in her body and loves to meet other dogs on her outings.
Cleo is our second adopted kitty from Providence Animal Center. She is a calico with a sassy orange leg. She loves playing with all her toys and her sister Natasha, but particularly loves batting around the champagne glasses on our bar cart. She loves living in Rosetree Crossings!
Cordy (named for her owner’s favorite character in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series) is a 3 year old miniature poodle mix who was rescued in September 2024 as a stray in Berks with no vet history. She was extremely matted, so they called her "Thing Two". She was transferred to Providence Animal Center soon after that, where she met her guardian!
Outgoing and inquisitive with an independent streak, Cordy loves meeting new people, chicken jerky, long walks in Media, visiting her grandparents and Aunt Shelley (a 2-year-old PWD) in Cape May, chasing (but not quite yet returning) balls at Houtman and Glen Providence Park, popping into dog-friendly stores along State Street, oh, and SNOW!
She holds the unofficial title of "Scroofliest Floof", but has also been called a muffin, a biscuit, a waffle sandwich, a perfect little storm cloud, and a cordyceps monster.
Cordy is settling in nicely as she nears her six month adoption milestone and is looking forward to trips to the shore this summer!
Sedona is a 2-year-old female mini-Australian shepherd.
She absolutely LOVES people, especially kids. She thinks she is human. She mostly gets attention because of her smile…yes, our dog really does smile. If she could be outside 24/7 she would. She has an obsession with fetching her rope and loves anyone that will throw it for her. Sedona is a California girl and made the drive across country with my husband and I on our move back to Delco this year. She has climbed many mountains and has seen some of the best views.
Nucky is a 12-year old pit bull/ chihuahua mix rescued from the streets of Philadelphia as a puppy.
He likes to watch birds and squirrels through the window. He prefers warm blankets for long naps.
Willow is a sweet cat who will always greet you at the door! You might see her on a brief walk in her harness and leash or going for a ride in her backpack around the streets of Media. Willow loves to wait patiently at the kitchen table for a bite of food or a tasty treat. She comes when called and can be seen cuddled on her blanket peering at the neighbors through the upstairs window!
This is Zelda. She’s a rescue and super friendly. She loves long walks around the neighborhood especially on Wednesdays during dining under the stars.
Buffy was found on Friday the 13 and truly embraces her *spooky* name. She loves tackling her older brother Ravioli, sleeping under yoga mats and sleeping on her back in bug mode.
Sammy is a talkative kitty. He loves to play with hair scrunchies.
Teddy is a 6 month old Golden Retriever who loves everyone and every dog he meets! He is very passionate about treats as well as the Media squirrels, although the squirrels do not share that feeling.
Cooper and Jackson are beagles. They enjoy walking around the borough several times a day. In true beagle fashion they like to howl. They are very curious and enjoy treats.
She is a Rottweiler and enjoys helping around the house: putting dirty laundry in basket, taking our socks off (never bites a toe!) and shuts doors and cabinets for us. She sometimes helps in the garden! Her favorite is hiking at Smedley and Ridley Creek and in the summertime, she loves to swim. I can't get her away from the water at times! She is a 90 pounds but thinks she is a lap dog.
