Media Borough welcomes Michael Dunn to the Shade Tree Commission as Media Borough’s arborist! Michael Dunn is an innovative Urban Forest Manager and Consulting Arborist with a passion for progressive problem-solving environmental issues and a vision for a sustainable future in the designed urban environment. Michael is eager to collaborate with the community and borough planners and stakeholders to manage and optimize the urban forest infrastructure as a shared asset. 

Michael’s organization, Morris Arboretum Urban Forest Consulting, is a professional urban forestry and arboricultural consulting nonprofit with an unparalleled approach to providing progressive and tech forward solutions to municipalities and other landholders for the management of their urban forests and green spaces.

In addition to evaluating Borough trees, the Borough and the Shade Tree Commission will begin offering residents the opportunity to use Mike’s services in evaluating trees on private property. Our intent is to provide resources to residents before a decision is made to remove trees that may not have to be removed yet.
