Our speed limit in Media Borough is 25 Miles per Hour. In our school zones, it drops to 15 during the day to protect our school-children during drop-off and pick-up times. Slowing down leads to safer streets. Slowing down leads to fewer accidents. Leading transportation authorities, such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the World Health Organization, agree that slower speeds lead to safer streets.
As speeds increase, breaking distances increase, and reaction times are cut significantly. Just slow down!
