Media Borough Council recently approved an amendment to the Residential Parking Permit program (RPP). The changes will go into effect January 1, 2026, and are listed below:
- Big Change: We're no longer distributing the blue car stickers! Your permit will now be tracked through the Passport Parking system.
- What you should do: If you live in an RPP area (the streets with black RPP signs), you'll need to re-apply in January using the Passport Parking payment system.
- Where to park: Once you have your permit, you can park anywhere within your new RPP area (look for the red lines on the map on the back of the notice).
- Permit Required?: Yes, you need a permit to park on any street listed on the back of this notice.
- Annual Costs:
- It's $5.00 per vehicle for your first two cars.
- Any extra vehicles after two will cost you $15.00 each.
- Bonus: Guest passes are free and good for up to one week of parking!
