Cordy (named for her owner’s favorite character in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series) is a 3 year old miniature poodle mix who was rescued in September 2024 as a stray in Berks with no vet history. She was extremely matted, so they called her "Thing Two". She was transferred to Providence Animal Center soon after that, where she met her guardian!
Outgoing and inquisitive with an independent streak, Cordy loves meeting new people, chicken jerky, long walks in Media, visiting her grandparents and Aunt Shelley (a 2-year-old PWD) in Cape May, chasing (but not quite yet returning) balls at Houtman and Glen Providence Park, popping into dog-friendly stores along State Street, oh, and SNOW!
She holds the unofficial title of "Scroofliest Floof", but has also been called a muffin, a biscuit, a waffle sandwich, a perfect little storm cloud, and a cordyceps monster.
Cordy is settling in nicely as she nears her six month adoption milestone and is looking forward to trips to the shore this summer!
