Recently one of our members received a phone call at home from an organization trying to solicit funds to support the Fire and EMS services. We are unable to vet this company so we would suggest NOT donating. The Media Fire Hook and Ladder Co No. 1 has never solicited money by phone for Fire or EMS support. We have not asked or authorized any organization to use phone solicitation to collect funds to support the department on our behalf. If you wish to make a donation please make it directly to the fire department or EMS organization that serves your community. This ensures your money is being used to protect your community.
