SEPTA is preparing for a once-in-a-generation replacement of its trolley fleet. More than a simple vehicle replacement, the Trolley Modernization program will fundamentally change the way SEPTA's eight trolley routes operate.
Media Borough is already a bikeable place, by virtue of its well-connected grid network of streets and its density of destinations. One goal of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is to further improve the bicycling environment in Media and encourage more residents to bicycle by developing an implementation plan for low-cost, short-term improvements to bicycle facilities.
The Project is replacing our old directional signage with a system of attractive, strategically placed, appropriately sized signs, specifically geared for each location and designed to be easily read at a glance.
