Regular Trash Collection

Trash is collected twice weekly.
• East side of Jackson Street - Monday and Thursday.
• West side of Jackson Street - Tuesday and Friday.

If pickup is on a holiday listed below, the collection is the following day.

Place trash curbside after 6:00 P.M. the night before collection; bring containers in by 9:00 P.M. collection day.

Bulk Trash Pickup
Media collects bulk items the last Wednesday of the month. Each residential unit shall be entitled to one (1) free heavy trash pickup per calendar year. Additional heavy trash pickups are subject to a fee of $30 per pickup. Each pickup is limited to five (5) items, with no more than two (2) large appliances. Additional large appliances will be subject to an additional fee of $15 per large appliance. Any appliance containing freon shall be subject to an additional fee of $15 per appliance. The Borough must be called 48 hours prior to pickup.
