In preparation of inclement weather, the Borough of Media would like to begin a pilot program pertaining to snow removal. See summary below:

According to the calendar date:
• Odd number days – park on the odd numbered side (address) of the street.
• Even number days – park on the even numbered side (address) of the street.

The date selected is controlled by when it starts snowing. For example, if today is Friday, January 2, 2004 it would be designated as an even numbered day. Everyone should park on the even numbered side (address) of the street.

This will permit the Highway Department to clear one side of the street, which residents could park after digging out and allow the plows to clear the opposite side of the street.

Please note Article VII of Chapter 291 can be accessed from the webpage, which
references Snow and Ice Emergencies.
