Public Transportation

Via Regional Rail (to/from Philadelphia)

Media is connected to Septa's Regional Rail route R3 line, the "Media/Elwyn Line." Schedule is available on the SEPTA website, or download the SEPTA R3 Schedule PDF

• Exit the train at the Moylan-Rose Valley station for points in Media East (approximately 0.8 miles walk to Media)
• Exit the train at the Media station for points in Media West (approximately 0.2 miles walk to Media)
• Head North from both stations to get to Media

Via Trolley (to/from 69th Street Terminal)

Media also has light rail access via the trolley SEPTA Suburban Trolley Line: Route 101 Media, schedules available on the SEPTA site, or Weekdays, Saturday and Sunday Schedules.

Via Bus (to/from Chester, Newtown Square, Lima, Upper Darby)

Two bus lines serve Media Borough:

From New York, Philadelphia, and points North:

1. Take Interstate 95 South
2. From Interstate 95, take exit 7 onto Interstate 476 North
3. From Interstate 476, take Media/Swarthmore exit
4. Turn left at bottom of the ramp onto Baltimore Pike
5. Follow Baltimore Pike one mile into Borough of Media

From Delaware and points South

1. Take Interstate 95 North
2. From Interstate 95 take exit 7 onto Interstate 476 North
3. From Interstate 476 north, take Media/Swarthmore exit
4. Turn left at bottom of the ramp onto Baltimore Pike
